words and sounds I love to hear.......

As ringmaster of this wonderful circus ,the sights and sounds of the children's library warm my heart and make me smile.  We are not a quiet library , so visit, make noise , and enjoy!
I would like to share some sounds with you that may help explain what I mean:

• the sound of a child's laughter
• the cries of a child who doesn't want to leave the library
• the sweet sound of a caregiver reading to their child
• the pleading of a child for one more book to take home
• the puppet productions
• the tricycle races
• the tween who asks for their library card number
• the conversations and interactions of strangers who meet

.........and the presence of each and every child who enters our doors at the Children's Library.
