Sonya's Saturday Stories

S is for Saturday, but do you know what else starts with S? Sonya, that's me! Hello, everyone! As you know, we're into the fall season. But you know what stories I love to read during autumn? Ghost stories. There's nothing better than to sit inside and read a ghost story. Some of them can be scary, but many of them can be funny!
Speaking of ghost stories, our Fall Party in the Children's Garden is on Friday, October 28 from 6-9:00 pm. There we'll have stories, treats, refreshments, activities and a movie at dusk. You can dress up in costume, if you want. Free and open to the public.

My favorite ghost story right now is called Anya's Ghost. Check it out (literally)!

From dealing with her russian family, arguing with her friend (her only friend), trying to get attention from the boy she likes, and worrying about the way she looks, Anya just want's to be normal. But after falling in a well and becoming best friends with a ghost, normal seems like an impossibility. That is, until Emily the ghost begins to help her achieve that goal. What are best friends for, right? But maybe Emily is dwelling in the living world a little too much. Anya begins to learn that no one is really normal. Especially Emily, who was murdered.
Join Anya as she tries to solve Emily's murder and learn that people are not who they are. Even ghosts have secrets...

Remember!
Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classes will NOT be meeting at the library. Instead we'll be at Haney's Appledale Farm in Nancy. We will be meeting at these times:
Tuesday, Sept. 20 @ 1p.m.
Thursday, Sept 22 @ 10a.m and 4p.m.
Friday, Sept 23 @ 9a.m.

We hope to see you there!
-Sonya
