I have an exciting event everyone needs to mark on their calendars: our annual Breakfast with Santa!
It is going to be December 10, 2011 from 9:30-11:30 in the community room downstairs. We will have donut holes, milk, juice, and reindeer food! We will also take pictures of the children with Santa! Be sure to come if you can!
I also have an interesting new initiative to share with everyone. We are starting a campaign to help people with fines bring them down. It's called Soup for Fines. Here's how it works: now through December 30, for every one (1) can of soup you donate to the Library, $5.00 will be waved from your overdue balance, up to $50.00. Interlibrary loan and E-reader fines are ineligible for waiver. All proceeds go to God's Food Pantry.
